Sportsmen’s Legal Defense Fund

Sportsmen’s AllianceUSA -(Ammoland.com)- The Sportsmen’s Legal Defense Fund needs your support. Each year we face a growing number of cases fought in courtrooms across the country.

This is an extremely expensive way of protecting our outdoor heritage but it must be done on behalf of today’s sportsmen and for future generations.

Anti-hunting groups continually file lawsuits that attack conservation. It is not a new tactic from their playbook, yet it seems to be a favorite go-to play. A perfect example: the Great Lakes wolf case fought by the Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation for over ten years now! We expect a ruling soon, but we’re not naïve enough to believe that will be the end.

Manipulating the court system by finding loopholes in legalese and filing lawsuits is Business 101 for anti-hunting organizations. They want to end hunting worldwide, and they will not stop until that goal is accomplished.

Wayne Pacelle, president and CEO of the Humane Society of the United States said, “If we could shut down all sport hunting in a moment, we would.”

The court cases we face are monumental, with long-term effects on wildlife management practices. Yet facts, science and logic do not matter to the anti-hunting organizations we face – and the non-hunting, voting public they influence. This is why we need your help. Please make a tax-deductible donation to the Sportsmen’s Legal Defense Fund today. We must remain vigilant and protect our passion!
